Vintage German jug vase in green and black dripware. Stamped on base is Germany 524/17 (over). Possibly produced by Bay Keramik Potteries during the 1980s.
Footed based with gold band supports a round bulbous body, the slim neck flares out into a spout and the handle extends from the rim to the body. Drip ware glazing of mint green starts at the top 'dripping to black towards the centre of the body, the rim and sides of handle is gold painted.
The jug vase is in good vintage condition with no cracks, there is a small chip under the handle at the base of the foot and there is no crazing. The gold rim and handle has some age related wear. See Photo.
A proper vintage jug vase which will enhance a display of flowers or dried foliage. A lovely vintage wedding, anniversary or birthday gift. Charming on a kitchen sill with wild Spring or Summer flowers.
