Vintage Wade copper lustre creamer, jug with pink and yellow hand painted flowers and green leaves. Back stamp indicates this was produced between 1945 - 1950s.
Grecian style jug or creamer standing on a small foot rising to diamond design body, a long smooth neck with high 'hammered' spout and ornate handle and diamond design around the body. The glaze is copper lustre with hand painted pink and yellow flowers and green leaves.
This jug is in good vintage condition with no cracks or chips or crazing, there is a manufacturing anomaly on the spout. There is some fading and wear of the copper lustre glaze on one side of the body and foot. See Photos.
A lovely 1940s creamer or jug to compliment a vintage tea set. A charming gift for any occasion, or as a pretty posy jug to sit on a kitchen sill.
