Beautiful 1980s vintage fruit bowl with a cane handle by Linda Smith of Kegworth Pottery.
This lovely ivory-coloured bowl features a scalloped rim and delicate low-relief pink flowers set amongst green and brown leaves, complemented by decorative bubble cut-outs. The raised handle supports hold an attractive split cane handle, adding to its vintage charm.
The bowl is in good condition, with no cracks or crazing. There is one small chip underneath a scalloped edge; however, it is not noticeable unless the bowl is turned over. The cane handle remains intact. Please see photos for details.
Full of character, this charming bowl would make a beautiful table centrepiece for fruit, sweets, dried foliage, or pot pourri. It would also make a lovely gift, particularly for Mother's Day.
