Chinese Famille Rose ginger jar with lid and bowl from the Jingdezhen factories during the 1990s. Both pieces have back stamps on the base.
The ginger jar is elongated bowl shaped on a yellow background decorated with imprinted swirl shapes and pink flowers. On opposing sides on white background are hand painted branches with flowers and a bird. The base and rim are decorated with blue and red ornate designs. The lid has the same yellow patterning around the edge finishing with a white top and hand painted flower.
The bowl has the same same yellow patterning as the ginger jar and is interspersed with Chinese writing. The base and rim have blue, red and yellow decorative designs.

The ginger jar and bowl are in good used condition with no cracks. The lid on the jar has 3 very small chips and the outside rim of the bowl has a chip which has been repaired. See Photos.
