Tall blue Empoli Genie bottle from the 1960's, missing is the glass stopper.
Probably made in Empoli, Italy, this glassware were usually colourful and became very popular during the 50's and 60's. There are no markings on the base of the bottle.
The bottle stands 49cm tall and is fluted, and is a lovely Royal blue. There are a myriad of tiny air bubbles encased within the glass. Considering its age 60-70 years, it is in very good condition and has no cracks or chips; there are a few 'exploded' bubbles where the surface has worn away.
A statement decorative bottle, even with the missing stopper and would look fabulous with dried grasses, or lit with led lights.
