Motley Crew of Vintage Creamers & Jugs – Eclectic Ceramic Collection

A charming and eclectic collection of vintage creamers, jugs, and a soup cup, offering a wonderful glimpse into the craftsmanship and decorative styles of the early to mid-20th century.

This unique collection includes six creamers and one soup bowl, each with its own character, design, and history. A lovely assortment of vintage ceramics and glassware, perfect for collectors, display, creative projects, or adding a touch of shabby chic charm to the home.

Each piece has markings or stamps to the base where noted and is in good vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks, although some pieces show charming age-related crazing, adding to their authentic vintage appeal.

Included in this collection:

Squat Ceramic Creamer, a delightful creamer featuring a charming hay cart and horse scene, finished with faded gold gilt detailing to the handle and rim. Marked Alfred Meakin.  Height 7 cm Width from handle to spout 14 cm.

Chinese or Japanese Porcelain Jug, a beautifully decorated jug featuring traditional scenes of pagodas, trees, and water, with gold gilt detailing to the handle and rims. The gold shows minimal fading. It may have originally had a lid and has previously been used as a milk jug. Stamped to the base. Height 11 cm Width from handle to spout 14 cm.

Unusual Triangular Navy Blue Jug, a unique shaped jug with a hand-painted romantic couple design across three sides, complemented by faded gold gilt decoration.  Height 12.5 cm Width from handle to spout 12 cm.

Pretty Country Flower Jug, a sweet English jug decorated with hand-painted country flowers and ears of corn. Marked “Made in England”.  Height 10 cm Width from handle to spout 13 cm.

Glass Urn Jug, a charming glass jug featuring star and dimple cut detailing. Possibly dating from the Georgian era.  Height 10 cm  Width 7 cm.

Glass Creamer, a lovely glass creamer decorated with a star within a diamond cut design and finished with a pointed scallop rim.  Height 5 cm Width from handle to spout 10 cm.

Portmeirion Soup Cup, a pretty handled soup cup decorated inside and out with pink, blue, and white flowers and foliage. Stamped to the base.  Height 7.5 cm Width 12 cm.
