A beautiful antique Locke & Co Ltd blush ivory trinket bowl dating from the Edwardian period, circa 1898–1902.
This very pretty porcelain bowl was produced by Locke & Co Ltd of Worcester, a renowned manufacturer whose blush ivory ware remains highly sought after by collectors. The company ceased trading in 1914, making this a wonderful survivor from a bygone era.
The lower half of the bowl is decorated with embossed leaves and finished in the classic blush ivory style, graduating from a warm cream tone to a delicate pale blue. The elegant scalloped rim is highlighted with fine gilt decoration, which remains bright and unfaded. The porcelain is exceptionally fine and almost translucent when held to the light.
The bowl is in excellent antique condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing. The gilt edging is beautifully preserved, adding to its charm and collectability.
A truly lovely piece to display on a dressing table, mantelpiece, or cabinet, perfect for holding jewellery, trinkets, or treasured keepsakes. An ideal addition to a Locke & Co collection or a thoughtful gift for a lover of antique porcelain.
