The lid is also painted deep red with gold flowers and leaves and gold rim, the centre is white with one of Fragonard's paintings of a lover's scene so popular in the late 1700's.\n\nThe Trinket box is in very good condition with no cracks, chips or glazing, the inner rim of the lids has one very small chip which is only noticeable by feel.  See photo.\n\nThe back stamp is in gold and has the product number B18. This was probably produced  during the 1960's -70's.\n\nA charming little pot for small jewellery or pills. A keepsake for a girl's christening.
